Such slackers!

Well, I've been very bad at updating this blog so far...who knew sitting around all day with a newborn could keep you so busy? Nora continues to be wonderful and gets cuter by the day.

This was my first week at home alone with Nora...Chris went back to work part-time. It's amazing and exhausting and a little lonely and boring sometimes and I miss Chris A LOT when he's gone, but all in all we've adapted nicely. I can't wait until I'm feeling physically back to my old self so we can go for walks and take little day trips.

We had our first social outing on Tuesday, which was also Nora's one week Birthday! We went to Molly and Joel's for dinner and got to hang out w/ great neighborhood friends and all their toddlers. It was definitely a full house! Nora slept soundly through the majority of the evening. She's a professional sleeper.

Chris is home tomorrow (yay!) and I'm going to make it our assignment of the day to get some good pictures of Nora with her eyes open! So, stay tuned...

In the meantime, here's one of Nora all cuddled up with two special yellow blankets (she's on top of a blanket made by my Aunt Esther for me when I was a baby, and she's underneath a beautiful new blanket made by Julie's Grandma - thanks Nana Pestana!)...

Two of our slightly neglected family members in a rare moment of peace...

Ohh, she looks so cozy between Aunt Esther and my Nana Bev's afghans! I wish I were there to cuddle-up with her, she looks so peaceful. xx, j

Sadie is just lulling poor Max into a false sense of security. She is tricky like that...
