Yellow Springs weekend

We spent last weekend in beautiful, sunny Yellow Springs. It was perfect weather (80's and sunny) and we spent a lot of time outside. Nora particularly enjoyed pouring water from one bucket to another with a mug - she spent literally hours diligently moving the water back and forth. I think it was the most focused I've ever seen her. Here's a taste:

She's also picked up a number of words this past week. I'm sure I'll forget some, but here's what I remember now (in addition to those listed in the last post): bubbles (for bubble bath), bus, blue (short for blueberries, a la Tiger), juice, toes, shoes, ouch, walk walk, choo choo.

And, some pictures:

She also says keys! But you all know I'm most excited about "bus" and "choo choo."

Can you ask Nora, the water specialist, how to fix a clogged drain? Can't figure it out myself - I figure she'd have it fixed by mid-morning.

Finn also loves the cups & water game. Maybe this summer Nora can give Finn some tips on how to not dump the water out in the first 2 seconds :)
