Walk Against Hunger

Nora raised $200 from friends and family for the first annual Walk for Hunger in University Circle (benefiting several NE OH foodbanks)! Chris explained to her what the Walk was about, but wasn't really sure she got it. The next day she declared to me that she wanted to give her Easter money to "hungry people". Ah, our lovely lady.

The day of the Walk was a beautiful Spring day and we headed out to Wade Oval early to run around. Nora was being super cute while Elise napped in the stroller.

And then the little one woke up!

Then Papa showed up!




Then we walked...2 miles, or 8 laps around the oval. Nora walked for almost 1 lap on her own, but had just run around in the grass for about 45 minutes, so we carried her happily. :)


After the walking, Nora danced a bit while drumming with her sticks.



After the Walk we talked Chris into coming over to the Botanical Gardens for a quick visit.


Our quick visit was interrupted by rain and we hid out in the treehouse.
