Chicago with the Mattesons

The turn of April-May brought us to Chicago for a girly celebration with our friend Norma. It was also a great opportunity to visit the Mattesons. We took over their apartment in Ravenswood and stormed the playground across Ashland. The North Side would never be the same! The guys took the kids to the Lincoln Park Zoo while the girls went shopping on the Magnificent Mile. The next day, we stayed more local, hitting up Lakeview School Park for some kite flying and messing about on the playground
